George Steinbrenner

Now, I'm not a Yankee fan, but the greatly reveered owner of the Yankees has passed away. George Steinbrenner, age eighty, died at around 6:30 AM. He had suffered a heart attack and passed away while in St. Joseph's hospital in Tampa, Florida. He had over thirty-seven years as the owner of the Yankees, and led them to seven World Series championships, eleven American League pennants, and sixteen AL East Titles.
